Hertford appoint former Ospreys players

We are proud to announce that ex Ospreys and Munster rugby player James Storey will be taking over as lead coach in the Academy

James said “I have a huge passion for Hertford RFC, since I joined the club at the age of 8 I have had many fantastic memories here and I know what a super club it is, my aim is to help develop the young players and assist them to move into senior rugby with all the right skill sets and a smile on their faces”

James who currently runs his professional rugby coaching business Sharks Rugby, brings with him a huge amount of experience and knowledge of the game, as a level 3 RFU coach and also having coached Hertford 1st XV for a number of years.

James will be joined by an ex-team mate Dave Tiueti, Dave played for Ospreys and Bristol and also boasts 21 caps for Tonga . The ex-Tongan international said “when James rang me to speak about this new role I jumped at the chance , we played together for years and I can’t wait to coach together now . I feel I have a huge amount of knowledge from my career to pass on to these young players and I look forward to seeing them progress and develop into senior rugby “

We will be announcing the full coaching, admin and management set up over the next week or so.
