We are proud to announce that ex Ospreys and Munster rugby player James Storey will be taking over as lead coach in the Academy
James said “I have a huge passion for Hertford RFC, since I joined the club at the age of 8 I have had many fantastic memories here and I know what a super club it is, my aim is to help develop the young players and assist them to move into senior rugby with all the right skill sets and a smile on their faces”
James who currently runs his professional rugby coaching business Sharks Rugby, brings with him a huge amount of experience and knowledge of the game, as a level 3 RFU coach and also having coached Hertford 1st XV for a number of years.
James will be joined by an ex-team mate Dave Tiueti, Dave played for Ospreys and Bristol and also boasts 21 caps for Tonga . The ex-Tongan international said “when James rang me to speak about this new role I jumped at the chance , we played together for years and I can’t wait to coach together now . I feel I have a huge amount of knowledge from my career to pass on to these young players and I look forward to seeing them progress and develop into senior rugby “
