Hoes and Termites Final Saturday ...and mini and youth excel on Sunday.

The 1’s and 2’s may be on the summer break but there is still much going on with the rest of the club.

It’s finals day on Saturday in the Herts/Middx merit leagues and Hoes and Termites each have a final and whilst both will embrace the Hertford shirt with equal pride they will take to the field with an interesting generational divide.

The Hoes contest the merit 1 plate against Fullerians 2ndXV at Letchworth RFC in a 3.30pm KO with 9 players 21 or under.

The Termites play at Sarries old Southgate club kicking off against Pinner and Grammarians 2’s at 12.30 with no less than 10 players over 40 including six half centurions.

So with some of Hertford past on shoe at Southgate and part of the future over at Letchworth, tomorrow they combine to be very much the present.

Both promise to be great games and support would be appreciated.

Sunday sees our 14’s and U15 competing in County finals over at OA’s @9.45 & 10.45 if you a great rugby fix for Sunday morning.

If you can’t manage that then Hoe Lane hosts the U6-U8 county tag festival so try and make one of these events in an action packed weekend of rugby.

Good luck to all wearing the blue this weekend
