UPDATE - Please note there will be a collection point on the bar at HRFC for any tokens you collect for bag re-use at ANY Tesco you shop in. You do not need to take them to Ware, just collect with your usual shop and drop off at the clubhouse. We are currently in 3rd place but I am sure with our members help we can improve on that. All proceeds will go to updating our changing rooms.

We are pleased to announce that thanks to the efforts of our grant/funding guru Jamie Conway-Baker, we have been included in the current Tesco Bags of Help scheme.

As previously announced we are looking to renovate our changing rooms. One of the current challenges is to have separate changing facilities for girls & women rugby players. The Tesco Bags of Help is going to raise money towards this.

When you shop at the Ware branch of Tesco you will receive a blue token. Please ensure you collect this token and put it in the Hertford Rugby Club slot. If we get the most tokens we will be awarded £4000 (but a minimum of £1000).

So please encourage your friends and family to do the same – perhaps if you usually shop in the Hertford branch you could switch to Ware for the next few weeks

The scheme is live NOW and finishes on 30thApril.
