As you can see, there are a couple of changes this week. The front row remains unchanged from last week with Tim Mathews coming in on the bench after having his baby. Congrats to all 3 of you!

James Keens and Red Newberry are unavailable this week, along with Will Brady. Also, James Kinsley has a broken big toe, which he suffered during the game last week and, after taking advice from our medical team, we have decided to rest him this week and he should be back in contention in 2 or 3 weeks’ time. So, in the boiler room we have Dave Archer and Chris Joannou and the back row is the same as started last week, with the experienced Alex Leo on the bench.

The back line has one change to the starting line up with Stuart Smart coming in for Mike Rugeley, who impressed last week and keeps a spot in the squad on the bench. Sam Walker missed out this week after coming on against Shelford and making a good impact.

The 2nd xv have no game this week so it’s all focus on the 1st XV and the trip to Westliff. We hope you can make it down to Westcliff to give the boys some support.
