Hertford enjoyed a fantastic weekend of rugby with our 1st XV, 2nd XV and 3rd XV all coming out winners against very strong strong opposition last Saturday.

Our 1st XV beat a very strong Wimbledon side, our 2nd XV winning against an excellent Ampthill side and our 3rd XV beating OA's 59-0.

It was great to see so many players that have come through our Academy and returning students representing our senior sides. Our 2nd XV included Sean Galvin, Ed Holman, Harry Glennon, Alex Pearson, Will Mckenna, Sam Balcombe, Sonny Swift, Dave Hale, Oran Riddle, Finn Powell, Louis Suarez and Will Brady who all came through our Youth system.

Sonny Swift, Harry Glennon and Dave Hale all have fully deserved their 1st team debuts this season which is so pleasing to see.

Our 3rd XV had 5 Academy players, 4 of which are returning students. Jacob Sanderson, Alastair Murry, Finn Robb, Freddie Welbury and Sam Weatherhead. Our 3's also included Liam Shields, Freddie Johnson, Tom Davies who also came through our Youth system.

Well done lads, fantastic stuff.

To top things off our Academy A and B side both put in very good performances, with our Academy A side beating top of the league Old Grammarians. Our pathway is showing a wealth of talent, with very strong sides all coming through our Youth system. The future is very exciting!

We look forward to seeing lot's of support this Saturday 15th January when our 1st XV play in a top of table clash against Dorking at home 3pm KO. Look forward to seeing plenty of our supporters, in what should be a very lively afternoon.
