We're delighted to report that following the phased return to Hoe Lane of our Senior and Youth Sections, we are ready to get the largest section of the rugby club back into action. We have learned a great deal with the return of each section and I'm sure we will continue to learn.

Hertford RFC Minis will return on Sunday 6th September. Timings are likely to be different to usual, as we will be adopting social distancing and pitch allocation per government and RFU guidelines and we have 12 age group squads to accommodate between the mini and youth sections over the course of a Sunday.

Kevin's snack wagon will be open for food and hot drinks all morning.

More specific information will be provided over the course of next week but some key takeaways:

• Players must be pre-registered for training on Pitchero and must report to the assigned coach to check-in.
• Children must have a responsible adult in attendance (this isn't a new requirement; it has always been the case) who should practice social distancing
• Players must have their own bottle of water - no sharing
• Players should bring their own personal alcohol gel to disinfect - PPE and gel will be provided as well
• Balls and hands will be disinfected every 15 mins
• Players must minimise contact, this might be hard for some of our younger players, so please remind players what is expected of them

All communications with regard to training, and rugby club matters will be distributed via Pitchero, the club website, with other unapproved apps and tools being shut down very soon.
