It is with regret that we have to inform members of the recent loss of Ian Shand. Ian may may been our oldest VP at the age of 95.

I don't think Ian ever actually played for the club but was very involved with the Old Hertfordians Association and was a very regular fixture in the clubhouse and volunteering behind the bar.

He lived in Hoe lane backing onto the club and was able to assist, logistically, as the club expanded.

He moved away in retirement and whilst not frequent visitor, he will be fondly remembered by many of the older members.
