Gerry’s home city was Liverpool. He relocated to the Hertford area after qualifying in the early 70’s joining Paul Wallace and Partners in Hoddesdon .

Later, along with Peter Derrick and John Waters , Derrick Wade Waters was formed . Now a large well respected company of commercial chartered surveyors based in Harlow of which he was still a director .

He enjoyed all sports including Rugby , Football and Cricket . He toured with the club , played cricket for the The Woodman XI and was the most diligent whip master ,hotel room and restaurant organiser over the many outings enjoyed through the years , be it Lords , Twickenham , Concerts and so forth.

A very reliable , unflappable gentleman , he was a former Chairman and a current Trustee of
Heath Mount School.
