We have heard this morning that CS Stags have pulled out of today’s game due to lack of front row players. They have been desperately trying to find replacements but it has just not been possible to do so. Our league secretary has acknowledged the situation and this morning confirmed that we have been awarded with a 25-0 home walk over.

Whilst this is very disappointing news, we are still going ahead with the lunch – Kevin has all the food ready for us – but this will be at a reduced price of £20.

On the positive side the 2nd XV are at home against Bishops Stortford in a merit table fixture and this will now be played on the main pitch. This will be a great opportunity to watch those players who are pushing to play 1st XV rugby.

There is also the Saracens v Leicester match which kicks off at 3pm and this will be shown on the TVs in the bars and on the big screen in the dining room.
