Well now the end is near, and so we face the final curtain. With all the possible permutations what we know is we need 2 points to be certain of level 5 rugby next season.

As we’ve travelled each and every highway, our away form has been a little disappointing But we have done it our way.

Regrets, ther've been a few but then again too few to mention, and times when we bit off a bit more than we can chew, but through it all when there was doubt we chewed it up and spat it out and we did it our way.

So, with what we hope is the last game of the season we have to be on our best to get the result that we know we're capable of and of late have shown we deserve. But nothing is certain in this life and North Walsham have the possibility of going back to 4th with a good win so are likely to be up for the game.

There are several changes from the last outing with the absence our try scoring machine and skipper Steph Jones and Alex Banna from the forwards and the hard running Tom Lamb from the back line.

We also see newest signing Jack Johnson getting his first start in his favourite 10 shirt.

The absence of skipper Steph means that Hertford will be led out tomorrow by Sonny Swift in his first outing as captain. Let's all make sure he hears the cheers on what will be a very proud day for Sonny and his family. Go well Sonny!

Also at home tomorrow are the 2nd XV who take on Hitchin in another vital game. If my calculations are right and Hertford achieve a big win without the opposition scoring bonus points, we could leapfrog them into the promotion playoff spot.

So let's make sure we cheer them on as well.

The Termites are the only Hertford team on the road tomorrow as the travel to Hemel Hempstead to take on The Mount, prison side. Go well boys.
