Initiated in 1999, the HRFC sponsorship programme has steadily grown
from half a dozen participants to currently over eighty. The income generated is absolutely vital to a club that has the
volume of membership we have at Hertford.
Sponsors are very diverse, with many local businesses, large and small,
joining multinational groups in support. We have seen a good deal of interactive business created as a result of the programme
and it is our policy to encourage sponsors and club members to use those businesses that support the club wherever possible.
Financially each proposal is dealt with and tailored individually to suit
the particular sponsor, but as a guide most enjoy:
• Ground perimeter board advertising • Advertisements
in annual fixture card •
• Advertisements in all home league and cup games •
• Acknowledgements in clubhouse • Hospitality at lunches • Honoury
club membership •
We also welcome service sponsorship, where by people or companies can offer
sponsorship via input other than purely monetary. For example, building trades, printers, taxi firms and many more - have
services always welcome at the club.
