Hertford is a friendly, family orientated club with a strong links to the community. We have 5 pitches, flood lit training areas, changing
and shower facilities and more importantly a good club house and bar! Ladies fixtures are scheduled for Sundays (although not every week) and the season generally runs from September to April.
This season has seen us finish in 4th/5th place out of 8 teams after only having played 13 of the possible 16 in National Challenge 2: South
East East division. This was slightly disappointing after our previous season which saw us reach 2nd and only being pipped at the post for promotion. The 2006/2007 season saw a convincing
league victory. The ladies squad is a growing team within the successful Hertford Rugby club.
We are striving for another successful season in the newly formed league of National Challenge South East North 2 comprising of clubs from
Hertfordshire, Suffolk, Essex and Northamptonshire.
We are a sociable and friendly team who just love playing rugby. Players vary in age and playing standard from complete novice to veterans.
Gum shield, pads and boots will be required for the season training and matches.
Previous rugby experience is not required as we have competent coaches to ensure you learn all the skills and rules of the game. All you need
is enthusiasm and a liking for mud! Age, speed and size don't matter, as the beauty of rugby is that there is a position to suit everyone.
Newcomers to the sport are welcome to come along and try it out. Now is a good time to start!

Training takes place twice a week, on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:30pm til 9pm.
