HERTFORD XV v ARMY XV
Saturday 31st July 2010

Hertford Rugby Club will be hosting a match at Hoe Lane on Sat 31st July against an Army XV to raise funds for the Help for Heroes Campaign. Entry is free. The Match will KO at 2.30pm. This will be followed by a dinner either in the club house or in a Marquee.

The format of the day will be very family orientated with various stalls, bouncy castle, kicking competition etc etc...

Tickets are only £30 per head...or if you book a table of 10 then it will be £275 for the table. The meal will be followed by a live band and a dicso.

Apologies for writing to you in an unsolicited manner. I am breaking a habit of a lifetime and requesting help. Whilst I feel uncomfortable with this, my solace is that it is in a great cause.

I am arranging a rugby match at Hoe Lane; the home of Hertford Rugby Football Club, on the above date against a select Army XV, entrance is free. My opposite number will be Gary Palmer, who is currently still serving in the Tank regiment. He has lived in the Hertfordshire areas of Ware, Broxbourne and Hertford all his life, whilst not serving in overseas operational areas.

The match will be followed by a meal, disco/live band, which will be held either in a marquee or the clubhouse at a price of £30 per head. If you are able to book a table of 10 then the table cost will be reduced to £275.

I am hoping that one of our Match programme sponsorship packages will be of interest to you. Listed on the enclosed sheet is the price guide for sponsorship, however if you feel for personal reasons that it would be unhealthy for you to be publicly associated with such a event we would be more than happy to receive any form of donation.
